Birds fly, fish swim, play therapists document (Part 2): Theoretical Goals Setting and Treatment Planning
Out of stock
This course has a time limit of 30 days upon the date of purchase. After this time, this course will no longer be accessible.
Effective treatment plans drive therapeutic practice, track progress, and increases client and
family buy-in. Unfortunately, most play therapists do not receive adequate play therapy specific
documentation training may minimize the role of treatment planning in the play therapy process.
Also, treatment plans are required by state licensure boards and managed care; therefore,
treatment planning is a clinical imperative.
In part two of this three-part, recorded training series, participants will differentiate between
long- and short- term goals, identify how to prioritize goals, connect goals to treatment (stages
and phases of play therapy), and play therapy theory. Participants will also identify general goal
language (document provided for download) and identify the role of play themes in tracking
progress toward treatment goals.
