Play Therapy Supervision and Consulting

In person and web-based supervision and consulting.

To receive the designation, Registered Play Therapists are required to have direct contact play therapy experience, play therapy supervision, and complete 150 hours play therapy specific education from APT-approved providers.

Dr. Turner provides individual and group supervision for the Registered Play Therapist designation and is an APT-approved provider. Please contact Dr. Turner for more information or to schedule an interview.

Individual Supervision/Consultation

$100 per one-hour session. This supervision is geared toward fully licensed professionals and those completing requirements for the Registered Play Therapist designation. Thus, this supervision should be considered advanced in nature. Supervision involves case processing, individual and system case conceptualization, play therapy ethics and documentation, theory integration, and tools, tips, and interventions.

Group Supervision (face-to-face)

$100 per person per two-hour session (group limited to 5 for quality purposes). Supervision is geared toward fully licensed professionals and those completing requirements for the Registered Play Therapy designation thus, this supervision should be considered advanced in nature. Groups meets a regular intervals, approximately one time per month in Belton, Texas. Approval is required to attend; payment made during supervision. Dr. Turner is also available for site group supervision on a limited basis. Contact Dr. Turner to schedule group supervision for your site. Fee is based on length and location.

Group Supervision (web-based)

$100 per person for two-hour session (group limited to 4 for quality purposes). Supervision is geared toward fully licensed professionals and those completing requirements for the Registered Play Therapy designation thus, this supervision should be considered advanced in nature.
